Horror Poster

First:
Open your images in Preview and decide which ones you want to use.  In particular choose one to make into your 'background' (you will use this to drag your other pictures into).

When you have chosen which you want to use (choose 3 or 4) highlight them and drag them into Photoshop (PS icon on bottom bar).  If Photoshop is already open go to - file - open.

Choose which picture you want as a background and go to - image - duplicate - and call this 'background'.  It is a good idea to duplicate all your images then you will have a copy of your originals.

Use a select tool in the vertical bar, third icon down.  I like the magnetic lasso tool but you have to be careful with this - the only way to stop it is to go back to the beginning until you get a tiny little 'o' at the point of the triangle, click it and cancel it.

Starting with the 'Magnetic Lasso tool' click on the object you wish to select then slowly take the triangle round, clicking as you go until you get back to the beginning and the little 'o' sign, click on this.

Go to -
File
Copy
Move tool (top icon)
go to the object you have just selected and wish to move and click and drag into the background file.

To change this object in anyway then go to
File
transform
and choose an option if you choose 'scale' make sure you hold down the shift key to keep it in proportion.

TOP TIPS
Keep the 'History' window open so you can go back step by step, and see what you have done,
Keep 'Layers' window open and click on the box of the layer you want to use.
Click on the move tool (top icon) to apply adjustments.
